RODALE INSTITUTE
Founded in 1947 by J.I. Rodale, Rodale Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that researches the best practices of organic agriculture. We share our findings with farmers and scientists throughout the world, advocate for policies that support farmers and educate consumers about how going organic is the healthiest option for people and the planet.
ORGANIC EXCHANGE Organic Exchange is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization committed to expanding organic agriculture, with a specific focus on increasing the production and use of organically grown fibers such as cotton. Their long term goal is to grow the amount of certified organic land farmed for fiber production by 50% per year. Achieving this goal will allow us to have a positive, significant, visible and measurable impact on the world.
ORGANIC TRADE ASSOCIATION The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for the organic industry in North America. OTA’s mission is to promote and protect organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public, and the economy. OTA envisions organic products becoming a significant part of everyday life, enhancing people's lives and the environment.
GREEN AMERICA Green America is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1982. Their mission is to harness economic power - the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace—to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society. Green America works for a world where all people have enough, where all communities are healthy and safe, and where the bounty of the Earth is preserved for all the generations to come.
